Morton Electric, Inc. is very excited to have furthered our involvement
in the governmental/airport projects over the last few years. This
sector of the marketplace has seen tremendous growth as of late
and we are proud to be apart of it. This includes three very large
scale and extensive renovation projects at Orlando International
Airport that Morton Electric, Inc. has either recently finalized
or are in the later stages of completion. These projects included
the renovation of their existing central energy plant, a vast addition
to their baggage conveyor system and a complete restoration of an
existing two story three wing terminal building. The scope of work
included new normal power, new emergency power, branch lighting,
branch power wiring, fire alarm, security cameras, P.A. sound, card
access, lightning protection, MATV and voice/data.
These projects not only had sizable scope and logistical issues
to overcome, but also the unique characteristics of helping keep
one of the nations busiest airports active and functioning while
working in and around the general public, airline personnel, airport
tenant customers and the many hundreds of O.I.A. work staff as well.
Projects like these continue to reconfirm Morton Electric, Inc.'s
commitment to safety and customer satisfaction in some of the most
complex and demanding environments.
